Ingredients
1 lb italian sausage (casings removed)
1 lb mostaccioli
8 oz mozzarella (grated, see note)
1⁄4 c grated parmesan
32 oz jar, spaghetti sauce (use your favorite)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Brown and cook sausage until no longer pink. Drain.
  3. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook 2-3 minutes less than package directions. Drain, and rinse with cold water.
  4. Toss together sausage, pasta, parmesan, and half the mozzarella and put in a 9x13 baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and top is browned.
Notes

Grate mozzarella by hand, pre-grated cheese has additives that prevent it from melting as well.

Dish can be assembled ahead, add potentially 5-10 minutes extra of cooking time.
